De Canadese fotograaf Adam Gibbs mag zich een jaar lang ‘ International Landscape Photographer’ noemen. Vancouver Island waar hij zelf woont, is meteen ook zijn favoriete plaats om natuurfoto’s te maken. Hij maakt het liefst foto’s in één shot zonder ze achteraf bij te werken of manipuleren. Hij wil de compositie en het licht voor zichzelf laten spreken. Adam Gibbs moest het opnemen tegen 862 andere fotografen uit de hele wereld.
